I"ve got a 1968 ford loader serial#C219943
and I need to do a job on the ignition.
The tractor has a 3cylinder gas engine
and i"d LIKE to get an electronic conversion
kit for it, but the one that YTDMAG sells
is listed only for 2000, 2100, 2110, 3100, 3400, 4000, 4100, 4140, 4200.

Can this be used on this tractor? If not,
where could I find a points/capacitator
assembly for it? Any help is appreciated
as my beloved tractor is stranded DEAD
in the neighbours yard :(

I got the parts this week and I"ve just finished installing it.. it works GREAT!!!
You can use the conversion kit without worries!
The only modification I had to do, was to
open up a mounting hole and make it a slot
so I could adjust the distance between the
magnet-sleeve on the shaft and the sensor.
Thanks everyone!

I'll take and get the kit from YTD (part no: 1231) and i'm also going to get the Coil, High Performance - Pertronix ''Flame Thrower'' since i'm doing all this other work :)

I'll get back on the board and let you know if it actually worked, or give some warning words for others if it doesn't...
