I am restoring my Jubilee that my grandfather gave me and I want to keep it original as possible. My question is, is there a place out there that makes the rear rims to look like the originals. That little bump. The salvage yard by me has new ones but look nothing like mine.

Any help would be great. Thanks. Chad

Thanks for the information. I had a bad feeling about those rims. Mine have had fluid in them for years-hence the rust.

Thanks again.

Chad

1206, The NAA rims that I have had measure 10" where the tire goes, otherwise look the same as 8N which measure 9". I suppose the bigger tire size caused this change. I don't know of any REPO. I have had several of these repaired. I take a bad rim and have a section cut out and replace with cut out from another rim. Takes time but looks good if done right. Also, search the Southern salvage yards, some didn't use any ballast but water....Kelly.

What you're looking for are generally called "boxed" rims. They are the same as O/E on 8 n's. Most of these have been destroyed by calicum leaking from loaded tires. I am almost positive that no reproductions are being made. It has taken me a couple years to find a pair of good ones. If you can find a salvage tractor that has spent it's life without loaded tires they will likely be restorable. When you do find a pair, I would recommend that you drill a hole into the box from inside the rim, pour, squirt,or spray zink-rich primer or undercoating into the hole, roll it around to spread it, and weld it shut to retard further corrosion. These rims were cadium plated from the factory and not painted. I think "argent" pickup step bumper paint makes them look a lot like O/E. Good luck in the hunt---- Doug
