I recently purchased the above Ford tractor. I have attempted to locate a wiring schematic for this tractor. It was damaged in a tornado and has been restored except for the wiring and LH front spindle.

Could I get some assistance with a wiring schematic for ignition, alternator, starter, lights and guages.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your assistance,
Alan Weaver

Alan,
This is probably not much help, but, I tried to locate a diagram for my 3930 after I discovered the harness was mostly junk. Looks like it melted and got repaired by the previous owner.

The local NH dealer did not have a diagram, which I find hard to believe but said he didnt. But he took the time to tell me where everything should run, and I started tracing and replacing wiring as I went. Talked to him 3-4 times to get it figured out. Worked, but definitely not the most effective way.

The IT book for the 3930 is useless for wiring.

Good luck,
Rick

He probably had the wiring diagrams, the same as I do. The problem is simply that they encompass a 3 or 4 or 5 page foldout in the service manual, and basically requires a plotter to make one of any use, and probably rip the pages from the manual to try to copy them. You've got to be able to chase circuits from page to page to follow the wires, and truth be told, they aren't that good in the book, never mind trying to copy or scan one and then make sense of it.....

The 4610 has rather basic wiring. A good multimeter and some basic knowledge of automotive electrical systems will sort the thing out. A genuine service manual is also a very good idea if a person plans on doing all their own repair work. Beyond that, if there's a specific question about where something goes, I'll try to answer..... but I need to know where you're at first.
