I have picked up a remote valve (cross) from my father in law and would like to mount it on our 960 ford as it does not have hydraulic lines. I have been told before how to route the lines and where to route them to, but for the life of me I can't find the email. Could somebody please tell me where the input line is supposed to come off of the tractor body at, and where the return line is suppose to enter the body at. Also I know there is a difference in open and closed center, so could somebody tell me which vavle I need to use so I don't tear up the hydraulic system on the old Ford. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Adam Davis

I think the easiest way would be to add the tap plate and spools righ to the hyd cover.

That's how my 722 laoder on my 660 is plumbed.

You need a open center valve. The simplest way to hook up the remote is to buy the block kit that fits under the plate under the seat of the tractor. Go to a Tisco dealer or your New Holland dealer and explain what you are trying to do and they can help you with the block. You will need some fittings and the hose.

The adaptor plate that fits under the accesory plate (located under the front of the seat) sells for about $50. Since you already have a remote valve (it must be open center) all you will need is hoses.
