Nice picture.

The thing that I have allways wondered about that set up is why they used those small front tires.
Seems like that tractor would go places those front tires would have no chance of staying above ground; especialy with all the engine weight up front.
Be more like a dozer with the front axle pushing mud.

Hi Bob, Nice tractor. I have a question. I have a 671 ford which I recently purchased a set of ARPS half tracks. My tractor has 13.6-28" tires on 11" rims. I cannot mount the idler arms as they hit the inside of the tires. If I set the tires wider then the spindles are not long enough to allow the idler wheel to be centered on the rear tire. Would appreciate knowing what size tires are on your tractor, and what is your rim width. If you could send pics I would appreciate that also. My e mail is open. Thanks, Sam

RickWI is right. If you have an owner's manual, look on page 29 for details on all the rear tread width options and how to obtain them.

Sorry, it's not my tractor. As I posted, it was in photos of my Uncle's, likely taken at a tractor show. Wish I had it, though!

"If I set the tires wider then the spindles are.." Do you know the wide is adjustable in 2 inch increments? Center Disc on the inside of rim hat or loops, disc on the outside, wide section of rim in, wide part out, disc concave in, disc concave out, or any combination of these.

Hi Rick; I understand what you are saying however if I use the 56" setting the idler arm is touching the tire side wall. If I use the 60" setting the spindle arms are to short to allow the idler tire to ride on the center of the tractor tire. Bought these from a fellow in your area who said they were on a Ford 800. My ARPS info show different idler arms, but of course they are history.
