Bought a "66 4400 last week. Looks like I can get the owners manual from New Holland for about $20 and a reprint of the service manual off of ebay for about $25. Can anybody who has bought one of the parts CD off ebay tell me if it has the 4400 in it? It only lists the 4000.

If the info on the CD was originally pirated from the original Ford parts info, the 4400 and all industrial derivatives are included with the parts info of the base models.

Mine doesn't have it.. but then.. I've seen at least 4 different people selling those parts cd's.. from 9$ and up.. probably a few different versions floating around both legit ( licensed ) and no ligit.. etc..

Thanks for the replies. I"ll probably hold off on the parts CD until I find one that has the 4400.

Another question. The tractor in question has a trans driven PTO. Did these tractors have an internal overunning clutch or do you still need to install an external one like on the earlier models.

You will need an external ORC for those applications that will benefit from one.

If you refer to the 2000-5000 cd.. mine doesn't show the 4400.. just the 4000 / 4100.. etc..
