I have a tractor labeled as a Massey and I am trying to get the model for this thing. It has a serial plate that says T0-1329??. The last 2 digits are not readable. It kinda sorta looks like a Ford 8N and is equipped with a Ford front loader.

Anyone know what this animal is?

Thanks!
Bill

I believe you might have a 1953 FERGUSON TO-30. The TO series serial #'s only went to a six-digit number as a high point. You mentioned T)-1329XXXX. If I'm reading correctly, that could only go as high as TO-1329XX.

A lot of the early FERGUSONS were re-painted over the years, and decalled (incorrectly) as MASSEY Fergusons. Might be the situation here.

See what engine it has. That will help narrow it down somewhat. (Continental Z-129/Z-134/ect are options)

You're right about the serial number. TO 1329XX would be a TO-30 but they were only available with the Continental Z129 engine. It had an external oil filter on the right side of the engine and there was a data plate on the left side of the block just below the head part line above the coil.
