Does anyone have a pic they could post or send me that shows what a front end weight box and weights looks like for a 1955 960 Ford Row crop tractor?
Thanks.

Do they even make an aftermarket wieght box? I'm stomped on what kind of weights you put in. Will the pie weights work or are there special weights?

This is one built to hold Mountain Dew for the tractor shows. but I don't have a tractor to put it on and quit the Dew.

Brad, started to say your not supposed to use these with a wide front, but you have a 1955. The weight box weights 130 lb. and holds six 48-lb segments for single front wheel and narrow front only. Wide front uses weights inside front wheel.

Kelly, I always thought that, too. But if you look at the last pic I posted it shows a wide front 900 with a weight box. Is that because it's a '55 with an aftermarket WF?

Jim, I saw that pic too. I don't think you can do much with the 1955 or early 56 as they have the one piece front end. I have a 1964 4000 High Crop with the wide front. It bolts up like all the normal wide fronts and it uses the bottom two holes, don't see any room for a weight box. And thats what the owners manual says. I don't have a clue on the aftermarket wide front, could have room.....Kelly.

Here's a pic I found in the tractor photo gallery of a 901 with a weight box. It's not a closeup of the box itself, but it gives you an idea.

Here's one on a 900 rather than a 901.
