Blows out seals works fine for a little while . what is the cause and the parts need to fix it . Reman sector assy around 1200 + shipping.Kinda high I have ability to fix .

if its leaking out the top of the tube, its probably an oring and seal pending on which steering setup you have....

you have to remove the instrument cowling and steering wheel.. the steering wheel is the hardest part by far... then get a book and if its the model i think, remove the four nuts and lift the upper tube off, then theres an o ring.. but then its been a few years and i dont have the manual in front of me.... so get a book and and an oring.. an do it... but do not let the steering shaft it self come up or you will be into a much bigger job... first time i did it, i was scare of that... but now i've done it a couple of three or four times and had no problems...

Well I was hoping to get more replies on this problem I replaced the upper sector seal and it just did it again within a week. The tractor runs fine and now leaks again. not much to it has I was told but this one seems to blow out the seal well i hope I find some one with the same problem so I can get solve to it . thanks everyone for any help .

Have the same problem with replacing this seal and it blew again. What was the cause of this?

Well I took apart once adn the seal look like probable cause I did find out wrong fluid can bend a steering rod. Unitrac vavoline is what it calls for . Now I did the seal and they drove it 5 miles to golf course and then a week later called me back and told me leaking again .
