I've got a 3000 gas tractor with 8x2 tranny, live power, and power steering. It has been used to mow for the last ten years or so and starts and mows good. Tractor has some wear in the steering and should have new lift arms on it, tires aren't too great and the rims no better.

What should it bring at a fair price??

Thanks,
Ken

Thanks guys!

Think I'll list it at $3,000 firm and be done with it. I know there are better out there and I've seen worse with higher asking prices.

I just hate the bargaining stuff and would rather set a fiar price, you want it, you pay it!!

Haven't seen any gas 3000's lately, but diesel/8-speed/p.s. models are bringing right around $6000 w/ fair to good paint and tires. (northern WI)

Ken,

Obviously, much closer investigation and many more considerations would have to be made by anyone who was seriously considering buying the tractor, but just as a general statement, Ford 3000's generally sell in the $3,000 to $4,000 range in Middle Tennessee.

I have a 1973 Ford 2000 that I really like.

Good luck,

Tom in TN
