My '64 2000 gas came to me with vertical exhaust and what appears to be a diesel air cleaner. The L/H hood has the captive nuts for it and everything looks factory. No evidence of the gasoline model air cleaner ever being installed.A picture of one like it is in the photo archives from 2002,it's owner was asked about it but didn't respond.Anyone know if Ford offered this setup, and if they did, what purpose it served?Thank You

Bellhousing # indicates gas.The fellow I got it from 4 yrs ago owned it since 1973.I recently asked him about it,he got it the same way I did. That's as far back as I can go.Anything is possible I believe.B/H # appears to be 21201 398XX with a diamond stamp. Thanks for your response.Boley

Is a 2120 an industrial version of the 2000? Could that be why it has a larger air cleaner?

Could be that some industrial tractor parts are on mine john bud.I hadn't thought of that.I believe the 21201 makes it a universal tractor with a 4 speed and pto,but who knows what's been done to it.Thanks for your comment.Boley
