Rebuilt the engine and am runnin it on the floor before installing on transmission and tractor. I built engine mounts bracket to stabilize engine while doing this. Anyway it's up and runnin' but I don't know how the fuel shut off solenoid works. Power to it and it runs, take power off still runs. The pump is Stanadyne Model DBGVCC429-27AL 12Volt solenoid I think. What is suppose to shut off engine? Thanks bjr.

Just pull back on the fuel pump lever that is the throttle. I had an electric selonoid put in the pump on my tractor. You just turn the key off and it stops. If every thing is correct on the throttle linkage then you just push the throttle lever forward on yours and it will quit. This is the lever on the tractor. With it on the stand you will need to move the lever back.
