Your description (pump-like-thing) is a bit vague, but you might be talking about the valve which switches the loader bucket from compensating to normal. This is a cylinder "push-pull" valve located on the outside of the loader frame near the loader controls. Pulled out the bucket and loader arms are independent, pushed in raising the loader also adjusts the bucket.

A 19-551 is a model 755 15 foot hoe.

If you have an actual sprocket, I don't know what that is. If you think there's a sprocket because you see chain, it's an illusion. The swing cylinders are connected to the hoe by chains - there's a pin on the swing cylinder and a pin in the main casting of the hoe. There are no gear teeth. This arrangement of chains is widely regarded as one of the weak points in this particular hoe series; however, they are good workers. The chains are expensive from New Holland, but appear to be something that could DIY from standard chain less expensively when they break.

$5000 is a good price, but probably implies that it needs considerable maintenance work.

I have a 1969 4500 with 753 (13 foot) hoe.

thanks for answering. the pump like thing i am talking about is on the lower side of the tractor and is next to the rear axel it has a handle when you push it down it then apears to return to same postion. the sprocket on the hoe looks like it had a chain on it before its not the main boom chains that move the boom left or right. it about 6 inches in dia. not sure what it use to hook to. the tractor as far as i can tell looks like it needs all the oils changed. i ran it ever things seems to operate pretty decent. seeems to run good. the only thing that may need work is the backhoe main lift cylnder seems to labor the tractor when there is nothing in the bucket and lifting it up, it may need to be rebuilt . not a big deal thanks mike c
