I have a NAA with positive ground 6 volt system. Of course, I can"t find my manual when I need it!

Can someone please verify if the wire coming from the ignition switch to the coil goes on the to the "plus" side or the "negative" side of the coil.

Thanks, Andy

Remember it this way.

The distribtor is the ground path for the coil.

So if the battery is hooked + to ground then the coil gets hooked + to dist. (ground)

On a - ground battery the - side of the coil gets hooked to the dist. (ground)

This holds true on ALL engines cars/trucks/tractors. If + ground the + side of the coil goes to the distubutor. If - ground the - side of the coil goes to the distubutor. So in your case the + side goes the the distubutor and the - side goes to the switch
