I need a drawing for the hydraulic system in a 5000. The hydraulics are very slow and I am wanting to dig in it and change the filter and screen. If anyone has the tractor manual that has this pic, please let me know.

Just go out and buy an I&T manual for about $25. You will probably need it again.

What year 5000? The FORD shop manual I have covers 2000 - 7000 and there are both gear and pistion pump systems shown. Have you a Dexta or Super Dexta or posibaly a Major. Also are you wanting the flow diagram or a pic of the filter location? My 3400 and all of what I see in the Shop Manual show a flow control valve either under the draft control selector or just under the seat on the other side. Have you tried increasing the flow in the system? Back the valve out some and see what ya get. I'll check back on you late tonight I'm out the door..... . AB

I have the operators manual and it tells me about the flow valves on how to increase & decrease the presure. Right now I have them turned up as far as they go. It doesn't have any major change. I also tried switching to draft control to the 3 different position, but that has no affect either. It is for sure a 68'Ford 5000 Gas engine.
I am wanting the flow Diagram and a pic of the location of the filters. If ya can help I would greatly apperciate it.
