I took my Ford 660 for a spin earlier today and the fuel shut-off screw had fallen out. I didn't know it until I had shut the tractor down. I was going to turn the gas off at the tank, when I noticed gas was pouring out where the screw used to be. I had been thinking about installing a cock valve, because I really didn't like the setup anyway. I guess I am just lucky the tractor didn't catch on fire. Anybody else had similar problems? Do you know of a easy fix for installing a shut-off valve?

If yours is the flat type you might want to try this link from an earlier discussion. I have a couple repaired as described in the shop but have not used them yet. Some even say they can be changed without pulling the hood and tank. It's a tight fit under there as you know.
