Jubilee Fuel Leak

I have a Jubilee with Fuel Sediment Bowl that leaks very badly.

I have replaced the whole unit several times but I still have a couple of problems with it. First, The valve stem does a poor job of shutting off the fuel flow. Second, and worst of all the gasket at the top of the bowl leaks very badly. I have replaced the bowl and have replaced the gasket at least a dozen times using both the neporene and cork gaskets.I have been able to stop the leak for short periods of time but it will usually reappear in a few hours or days at best. I have stopped it temporary by loosen the base and twisting the bowl around on the gasket and then re-tighting the base. When I replace the gasket I can usually stop the leak until I add more fuel or the weather changes.

I have even considered trying to take the bowl and off and adding a in-line filter.

If anyone has any suggestions as how I can end this annoyance it would be appreciated!

Thanks

Check to make sur ethe packing nut is not loose ont he valve stem.. most of them are shipped very loose.

I've had good luck using THICK gasket paper or the neophrene oring.. just takes an exactor knife and a pattern .
