If you were to look the defination of goofy up in the dictionary I think you would find one of these pictures.

Full height view.

Despite how it looks it is remarkable strong and stable.

It is hard to belive somthing that looks this goofy would work as good as it does. It has no problems lifting and handling a 4x5 round bale. I might make a spear for it.

I don't think It is possible to "drive in to the loader" like the manual says. I don't think there is enough room with the wide front sticking out on the row crop models. Ill have to come up with somthing.

I still need to find five more 40# pie weights for the rear

I think it was worth the the 150.00 for the loader and brackets, what do you think.

Very nice. The price is very good - I paid $100 for one that wasn't quite as nice, and had a rough looking bucket. I was lucky enough to find someone that was looking for the 900 style brackets that mine came with, so I did an even trade to get the 600/800 type. The dirt bucket would be handy, as I have the manure bucket on both of mine. Here are some pictures of my newer one that came on the tractor. Very handy, although I need to rig up pallet forks on it to be more useful with firewood hauling.

And with my new (to me) summer tires on 24" industrial wheels. And yes, they need some paint.

John,
Good looking tractor! The all hydraulic loader (722) is less common than the trip style (711)
By the way, is that you driving it? grin

Busted,
Lookin good!
What's interesting is most of the 711 trip loaders I've seen had the manure forks on them. Not the dirt bucket.
They're surprisingly good loaders aren't they? And yours for $150 is a smokin' deal for the work it will do for you.
As for mounting them - I get my tractor as close as I can then use my floor jack to roll it over the last few inches. I've thought about using a comealong in a tree branch to mount it but haven't tried that yet.
By the way, I saw your post about you needing some pie segments. I have two here but am not sure what size they are.
They are deeper/heavier than my 30# segments but I've never weighed them.

2 or 3 of us here have the ford 711 and 722 1-arm loaders.

They are quite handy.. and yes.. they lift hay bales just fine.

Here's my 660. I picke dup an 850 this past week and plan to mount a 1-arm loader to it as well.

150$ for the laoder and brackets? That's awesome. I paid over 200$ just to locate all the brackets.. not to mention a few hundred for my loader frame.

Good deal!
