I have a 960 tricycle that the power steering did not work. I rebuilt the cylinder and now just as soon as the motor turns the wheels lock to the left. I was told by a dealer that the power steering had to be timed. Does anyone know how to do this, or is it really necessary

There is no timing involved with a row crop power steering. And no lines to reverse. I most likely has air trapped or the control valve is assembled wrong.

I'm not sure about the relief valve or the hoses. I'll need to check and see if either one helps.

Isn"t there a relief valve in the pump,? sounds like his may be stuck open or do I mean closed...

Could you possibly have the lines reversed? This sounds like what happens on a car when the lines are reversed.
