Hi all,

I have a 640 and have been looking a small bucket that goes on the 3 Pt. hitch. I am not sure exactly what it is called. It can be mounted with the open end either forward or to rear of tractor. There is a manual handle to dump it. 3 Pt. hitch simply raises and lowers it.

Does anyone have any experience with this product? Is it probably to0 heavy for my hydraulics?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Walt

Thanks for all the input. The one I looked at was pretty heavy, don't know brand, and was $189.
I will go to a King Kutter dealer and check them out.

Thanks again,

Walt

Hello,
I see you have the name. They work very well. I have used them with a 9N ford a Case VAC Ford 3610. Mine is a Hydro Scoop brand and it was before they started making them where you could mount them reverse direction, but it will move a lot of dirt. Mark

It's a 3 point scoop. can be purchased at most agriculture supply places. Prices depend onj the quality. I've used mine for everything. Very handy item. I even put forks welded off the back and picked very large rocks out of my field with out doing much work of the tractor. That and a scraper blade and you're in business. Just don't exceed your lift capacity.

You are looking for a 3pt dirt scoop. They are great! I purchased the King Kutter scoop @ $199.00 from Agri-Supply. The King Kutter looked much beefier than other brands, and weighs in @ 100 lbs. heavier than comparable models.

My local store (C-A-L Ranch) sells King Kutter scoops (30") for $259. I kept waiting for them to cut the price when the summer ended, but so far no go. I need to come buy it where you are. Probably cost a lot more than $60 in gas to get there!
