My buddys got an 8n 6v and asked about charging the battery.Do you have to use a 6volt charger or is there a way to use a 12v and not harm the battery?I havent seen a 6/12v charger in years.
Thanks Tony

You must be walking around with one eye closed, and your hands over the other.

Napa has a 1/2-2a 6/12v charger, harbor freight has a 2-6-10 6/12v sears has a big standup 6/12v etc.. It's hard NOT to find one imho.... Anywhaere that sells golf cart stuff usually has them. my local walmart has 6v float chargers and sells HD golf cart batteries...

You have to use a 6 volt charger unless you have 2 batterys and then you can hook them both up so they are 12 volt then use a 12 volt charger. Hope that explains it well enough. But if you do that the weaker battery will keep the stronger one from cahrgeing up as it should
