I don't have a 3610 but do have a 7610s common sump tractor, as well as a late 5000 common sump tractor. On my 7610s there is a dipstick above the left rear axle trumpet to check sump level. On the 5000 the dipstick is built into the tranny top filler plug. ( On individual sump models like the early 5000 ) there were level check plugs.. IE fill that sump till you see oil seepage at the level plug, then repalce plug. Again.. I'm not sure what you have.. what does your owners manual say inthe lubrication section? If no manual, then it's time you get one. In the meantime why not call your local CNH dealer and introduce yourself and explain that you are the new owner of the tractor, would love to ask the service manager some maint questions so you can get the tractor ready for work. I'm sure he will be glad to tell you where the level check plugs are. Be sure to let him know that you will poke your head into the service dept. to say hello when you run in to buy your oil, fuel hyd and air filters. Soundguy
