A friend of mine recently bought a 2110.He wants to change the oil in the trans and rear. Is this all one compartment? It looks like a filler plug on top of the rear and one on the trans by the shifters. Where is the filter located? Does it take universal tractor fluid? What years were these tractors made? How much oil does the trans and rear take and where do you check it? Thanks

Thanks a lot for your help guys. One thing I forgot to ask, where is the serial # located? I found a stamped # on the right side of the engine block, just above the oil pan, is this the engine serial # ? Couldn't find the tractor #. Thanks

Al, Ford had two different 2110's. I'm assuming you have a yellow tractor since it has a trans fill plug and a diff fill plug. The rear axle is seperate from trans. The diff is 6 gal or a little less. The trans is about 3 gal depending on trans. No hyd filter, just a sution screen. The trans check plug is on the R side of tranny near the front of foot rest. The diff is located down under the lift leaver on the diff housing. It will be a SQUARE head pipe plug. The 3 cyl 2110 was from 65-75 and utf is the fluid you need. Can use 80-90 in trans only.
