Will the 134 cubic inch engine from a 1957 640 Ford bolt to the trans and work in a 60's Ford 4000 tractor?

Arthur:

Ford made two entirely different 2000s in the 1960s.

The 134 will bolt right into a 4 cylinder 2000 but the later 2000 with 3 cylinders is entirely different.

Sorry, Arthur.

Substitute 4000 for 2000 into my previous post. The result is the same.

Arthur:

Though the 134 engine will bolt right into the 4 cylinder 4000, it produces a good 15 HP less than the late model 172 engine. You will end up with a heavy early model 2000 tractor.

I should have mentioned this last night but had very little time.
