Where can I find a good used or rebuilt power steering ram for later model Ford 4000? Single ram located left of tractor, as you sit in the seat. I live in N. Calif. Will pay shipping for the right unit. Thanks, Ron.

Which 4000 is it? Is it a pre 65(4 cyl) or a later one? It sound like you may have an early 4000 row crop if it has a single cylinder. No longer available new.

Joe:

The early 4000, 3 cylinder general purpose tractors used a single PS cylinder on the left side. These are prone to leak. I do not know if they are still available from CNH but seals are. I resealed mine about a year ago.

The 4 cylinder row crop 4000 has the PS cylinder on the right side.
