Guy by me is selling a Ford 801 w/loader and elenco 4wd setup.He's asking 5000.00.Haven't seen it yet ,probably sometime this week.Think it's worth that kind of money???

If you determine you are not interested in purchase of the tractor after looking at it, I would appreciate a telephone number of the owner. If you purchase it, hope it turns out good for you. I am enjoying my Fords and would like a tractor with the original 4X4 set up.

That depends. If you're into collecting Elenco conversions, and just want to have one, ya pays what ya gots to.
If you're just looking for a 40 hp FWD tractor, then NO. There's lots better out there with probably stronger FWD systems on much better platforms for not much more money. I wouldn't pay that for an old Ford unless I just wanted that particular tractor for some reason. It may have that collectors value, but there's better value out there for a straight work tractor.
