Ben; I'd also make sure that the engine is not overheating and the oil pressure is good. If they are ok then move on to the electrical problems.

I'd say the starter is dragging. Armature is swelling up and then rubs the field when warm. Seen it in cars and trucks. Probably have to get the starter rebuilt

Ben; Can you provide some more information. What do you mean by "it won't turn over"? Do you mean the engine won't turn or there is no power to the starter? Provide as much detail as you can and you'll get some good help.

when I start the engine in the morning it starts up fine. After it is warmed up totally then you shut it down for a few minutes then try to start it up again while it is still warm it acts like the battery is almost dead and the engine will not turn over..... Thanks .....Ben

Check your timing, your starter, your battery and wiring connections.
