Hello, a neighbor of mine has a 961 powermaster he wants to sell but is not sure what it is worth. It is in decent shape no major dings in the tin. Runs well. Has a 3pt and PTO. Also has a ford 700 loader on it. I am a moline guy and have no clue about fords. Can you fellas help me?

hey the loader can be worth 1000 to 2500 alone if its a good 730 loader that fits many different models... howerver if its a pipe loader its worth 500 to 800....

I agree with the others.. 2000-4000$... the PS helps.. the WF helps if it is a 'worker' and not a collector buying it.

It is a 58 model. Has a widefront and is located in SE MN near Rochester. Has power spinouts and the power steering seems to work just fine.

Questions:
1. Power steering in working condition?
2. Wide front or narrow front or single tire front?
3. Spinout rear rims? rusted?
4. Where are you?
5. Can you post a photo or two?

I have two wide front assemblies and wouldn't mind having a narrow front 961 to put one of them on. Or I may just sell the wide fronts.

Bog:

Like Old says, this depends on many things. I've seen 961's sell for $1200 to maybe $4000. They usually do not bring as much as the utility models.

The important things to look at on these tractors is the condition of the rims if they are power adjust because these rims are no longer avaible anywhere and the condition of the power steering cylinder and pump.

It will be worth $500 - $1000 more if it has a good wide front end than if it is a narrow front.
