Does anyone have a spare needle or a pair of them for a 530 Ford Baler? Do needles from other Ford models newer or older work? Are there other balers ---New Holland John Deere IH that would work? The one I have was welded but welded crooked when i got the baler. Im getting nervous....I have yard hay to bale and its gonna rain....

I had a 532 and welded them several times without ever having a problem with them. (problem was I wasn't bright enough to stop hitting rocks and breaking them) I don't know if I have ever seen a pair that wasn't welded from that era. I have a NH 268 that both needles were welded before I bought it and now have many thousand bales under it's belt. I guess my suggestion is to cut and re-weld straight, then reset and adjust in the baler if you can't find another reasonably priced solution.

We used N.H. model 66 baler needles when I worked for a Ford dealer. I think the N.H. number was 28501.Was a lot cheaper than the 532 Ford substitute that Ford changed to.
