I'm having a tough time with the ford 800 I bought, the carb is giving trouble. The people I bought it from worked on it and got it to run good, and it continued for awhile, then seemed to start loading up, flooding. When I hooked a plow to it and put it to work, it balked. I believe some water may have gotten into the system so I put in some seafoam and let it run with the choke out. After a while I eased the choke off and it kept running, and seemed to be better. Then it started again, and will only run with the choke out. Does anyone know where I can get a picture with the screws for adjustment pointed out?.....Thanks

Thanks a lot guys! I already did the draining part, and those pics were exactly what I needed. I do have one more question though, the initial settings for the adjustment screws. Anyone know those?

Idle screw is around 1-1.5 turns out from bottom and the main jet about 2 turns out from bottom. Then from there you just have to play with them till you have it right. No 2 enignes run the same so on all of the its different

Couple things to try. First on the bottom of the carb is a drain plug, remove it and with the gas turned on let it drain for about 5 minutes catch the gas so you can look at it. It need to flow good for at least 5 minutes. If it doesn't then take the line loose at the carb and try there. If it doesn't flow there you have a problem from there back. If it does flow good there but not out the bottom of the carb you may need to open up the carb because you have either a sticking float of junk in the carb. The main jet is the one that sits at a 45 degree angle and thats the one you would need to adjust to make it run richer or leaner.
