I saw a 1953Golden Jubilee Naa with a shurman transmission just curious as to how rare these are. And a follow up question which tractor would you rather have a Ford 8N with shurman transmission or a Jd 420with 5speed transmission? Any replies would be appreciated.

The sherman was a deal add on thing for them so rare nope. Now does it make them a better tractor for the most part yep and if its the combo for sure its better. As far as the other question I would take the JD because its worth about twice what the 8N is worth. As far as which is better it would depend on which sherman it had. If it was the combo the 8N would be better or if it had the under drive it would be better but if it had the over drive the JD is better
