My operators manual is not clear on what to remove to check the hydraulic oil level. Darn manual must have been copied from color pictures to B&W.

My tractor is a 3910.

TIA

Thanks Rod. I will go over it again, this time with a spotlight. I did find 2 filler plugs on opposite sides of the diff housing. I took them both out hoping for a dipstick. No such luck.
The main reason I am concerned is when I bought it, the tractor had a leaking axle seal. It continued to leak after I brought it home but after 6 hours use, it seems to have quit leaking. I don’t know if it quit leaking due to the seal softened after use or it’s low on oil. The first would be good but I need to know the oil level to be safe.

Here is an updated picture. I re-read the operators manual and the photo insert does point to this area. I have a feeling that it was pointing to 'B'.

Way, way too high.
Look down in the pump housing about the level of the footboard. That's where the level should be. I dunno if the plug is there or not though. I've looked at 3910's before and I and couldn't find the level plug....
If not, then look at the access cover on the left hand side of the axle housing. Many of the newer models were setup for a dipstick that used a small brass street elbow about 1/3 the way up that cover, or mabey a bit lower. Regardless, the oil level should be about 1/2 way up that cover.

Murn ga, you are correct. That is area of the flow control valve. ‘C’ is a square head bolt.
‘A’ would not loosen for me and ‘B’ and ‘C’ had oil dribble out.

My manual does not point me to the Diff housing for fluid level but the fill plug is there.
I will take a better picture tonight.

That is a picture of the flow control valve,a,b or c is not a check plug. You will find a square or alien head plug on the diff housing. Is that a square head plug just below the valve in your picture?

Not sure.... but I'd say opening "A" will do you the least harm. Without a picture backed out a bit further to get some perspective, I wouldn't recomend opening the other two....
"A" might also just be a pressure test port.
