This is from a post last year: Re: Bad News About My Burned 3000. (Is aftermarket sheet metal available?) 07-10-2006 18:39:47 'Old Ford Mechanic' answered: "Yes, it is available from most parts dealers. Look on the web for dealers like Walts Tractor Parts and others. Most all sheet metal for the 1965 and up Fords is available. This includes 2000 thru 7600 tractors. Very little sheet metal is available for the pre-1965 tractors."

I know where a 4000 is that is being parted out, the hood itself is the same as a 600 or 800, like the jubile's but the front is squared off. If this is what you need post back. the side panels say 4000

As Rod said.. hard to find new body parts.

Is there any chance that your's can be resurected with body work?

Most any tractor salvage yard should have something... They get burnt and such, so there should be parts out there. Alexanders I think is one big yard... Up here I would deal with Fawcett Tractor (www.fawcett.cc). They will have something... It's best that you start locally though to avoid freight if possible.
