Hello all, I'm looking to buy new tires all around the tractor I own but my question has to do with the front. I'm looking for 600-16 tires with a normal tire tread. But I keep finding 3 and 5 ribbed implement tires. But then a search on ebay led me to lugged tires for the front and the page said that with the lugs reversed they were great in snow. Has anyone tried this? Are they great on dry ground? It's rough steering in general with no power steering in the first place. Also the tractor has a sherman hoe and a 703 loader so its main use is for grading and digging.
Thanks in advance, hivoltage98

The laoder and the hoe are making the hard steering.

In general, tri-ribs steer the easiest.. however.. with all that weight.. I'd look at 3-5 ribs or something with alotta plies..

You will sacrifice turning for better weight distribution.

On my 660 and 850 with laoders.. I just turn when rolling to not stress the steering mechanism too much..
