I have an 841 and need o rings between the two ends of the hyrdraulic pump manifold but cannot find a source. One pair of the rings are flat washers and the other pair are regular o rings but the handy Ace hardware rings aren't thick enough and she leaks. Who has the oem o rings? Can you help? the part #'s are 87053-591 and 87055-591. Thanks B

Those #'s are from the old parts book and have been superceded.
The new book also shows different o-rings for the top and the bottom where as the old book showed the same ones were used.
You are better off buying any hyd o-rings straight from Ford as they do not use regular every day o-rings from the hardware store.
Here is what I got from a parts look up at a Ford dealer web site.
You need parts 36; 38; 40 and 41

A GOOD New Holland dealer should have them available, especially if they have people in the shop that know the older Fords.

Unfortunately not all NH dealers are interested in the old Fords. My closest NH dealer didn't know about the square cut O rings or else was just too lazy to look them up. I tried the regular O rings they sold me, but they started leaking after a couple of months.

I ended up going to a hydraulic supply shop and ordering the square cut O rings. They were not cheap, unfortunately.

Not that many years ago, the former NH dealer had kits with all the O rings needed for about $5. But now they only do Kubota and quit stocking any Ford parts, even though they were a Ford dealer for 60 or 70 years. Not too happy with them...but that's business. Good luck, hope this helps.
