couple questions on a ford 1700 tractor. The loader hydraulics start getting jerky like they are running out of fluid after the tractor warms up.the fluid level is at the correct height. And does the tractor have a diesel injector pump that requires yearly filling of a small oil tank.I do have the IT manual but because it covers several different models its next to useless. Are there not a lot of these tractors out there? I called two different local ford dealers and couldnt get a straight answer out of either of them, Thanks, Bill M.

If you follow the large pipe from the hyd pump back to diff you will see a flange with four bolts. Take pipe off and bolts, remove flange, inside is a fine screen strainer, clean it and change fluid.Drain rear diff also, there is a drain plug on bottom. Takes approx 5 gals unless you have a fel then 7 gals. The inj pump uses motor oil and you fill it from the top, there is a sight plug approx 1/3 of the way up. That is the fill level.
