Hi Paul; No, there is no other inline filter besides the screen at the fuel tank shut off valve and the screen in the sediment bowl.

Hey Soundguy; My book shows the elbow screen to be for the LP and Kerosine engines and not the gas rigs. My 850 does not have an elbow and screen. If I recall correctly, Airforceone is running a gas engine. Am I missing some info somewhere?

Odd.. mine has one.. but it also has had the sed bowl removed at the carb as well.. my guess is the prev owner needed to match the fittings and found the elbox screen was the ticket when he farmerized the gas line..

Hi Soundguy; I guess that explains it. It just goes to show you have to be careful with these old tractors as to what is original and what is not. You had me doing some double checking. Thanks for all that you contribute here. I appreciate your knowledge and experience.

I had considered putting it back stock.. but never got around to it as it is my work tractor... thus never paid much attention to what was plumbe dinthere.. elbow screen must have bene the fitting the prev owner needed.. though i do wonder why he removed the sed bowl in the first place.. they work pretty good.

You know, in thinking about it, you know how sediment bowls will sometimes leak if you don't have the gasket just right, this is a good fix.

Yep.. he probably got tired of seeing gas drip of fthat sed bowl one day and then just removed it and plumbed the line straight however he could.
