When I used the dip stick for the back end oil, it registers no oil. When I put oil in the dip stick still reads no oil(granted I have not put a lot in yet approx 2 gallon). Does this oil port fill gear box and hydraulic system? as the loader and the hydrualics are still working I am worried if there is any oil in the gear box. Could you advise is there another dipstick /fill for the gear box. If so where is it and what oil grade is required. Or are the two systems separate. Many thanks.

The other guys are giving you good advice. the larger fords can hold LOTS of oil.

I know the hyd oil filter on my 7610s holds almost a gallon itself... and I suspect you will need 40+ qts. Check your manual for the sump capacity.. many will tell you how much oil 'extra' it will hold to make up for loader / remote use. i think mine said 'up to 13g'.. etc.

Keep pouring.... I've dumped over 2 buckets into them in one shot. $hit happens.

RickB's correct, just keep pouring. If its not showing on the stick, plan on (at least) most of a 5 gallon pail.

Transmission/rear axle/hydraulics/dual power are all common sump. Fill to the full mark on the dipstick with New Holland 134D hydraulic oil or its equivalent. Use this same oil in the power steering system and front axle center section and hubs.
