In the near future, I am going to remove the Ford 703 (19-105) loader from my '57 Ford 640. I have to pull the head on the engine, and the loader is in the way. I have the original Ford Assembly and Operation manual, but doesn't give much info reguarding removal. It doesn't look to difficult, only a few bolts to remove and some pins.

However, I am not sure how to correctly detach the pump. How do I detach the pump for the tractor? This will be my first time removing a loader and any help would be greatly appreciated!

Unbolt the pump from the loader frame and move it forward (away from the tractor). The shaft between the crankshaft hub and the pump hub is splined on the crankshaft end and will slide out of the hub.
