I am looking at a A-62 loader that has some issues. I am stumped, need some help.

When cold it doesn't want to move, warm up a few minutes it goes, I can live with that.

Give it a little bit of fuel, it moves, a lot of fuel it doesn't move any faster.

After it gets hot it slows down and won't hardly move at all.

I at first thought that the torque was out, after talking to a guy that used to work for the owner he said that this machine has done this for years, even to the point of shutting it off and letting it cool down to move.

Any ideas what could be wrong, I need a bigger loader, not a bigger problem. All help greatly apprectited.

So, you are looking to get a machine with issues that have you stumped?

Quick advice - unless it's near free, run away!

..... walk on then.
It sound like a torque problem to me. A-62's were pretty good loaders 30 years ago. Getting parts for them today would require some heroics. It would need to be cheap, chEAP, CHEAP!!!

Most issues with this machine have been addressed, except for the moving. If it is not right I am not buying.

We drained the transmission and pulled the screen, oil had some use but was not burned or gritty, in short it looked OK. The screen had very little on it. Only thing I can thing of is, as we don't know what oil was ran in this machine, could the wrong oil give these symptoms?

A little background, the guy that owned it died, the guy that is trying to sell it is a brother to the widow, just helping her out, no history with this machine. I know him very well, he is trying to do what he thinks best for all parties.
