The oil filter screen they sell on this site:>Air Cleaner Filler - Fits many air cleaners that use steel wool type filler. Custom manufactured mesh. 1 bag = 4-12in x 4in. (Part No: S.43231) *is one bag enough to fill up my 850 air breather? Right now all I have is a small screen on side of hood and nothing more. I was tempted to cut a piece of AC filter and put there as well...advise?? thanks AF1

You'll need two (2) bags for your air cleaner. I'd be careful about using AC filter unless it was metal. The fiber type tends to break off flakes and you don't want those in the carb.

Glen..thanks...now does this metal screen stuff fit into the entire cannister? Also, when you fill the oil for the breather...it has a fill line. And if you look at the fill area it has one area then another small one in the middle. Do you fill the middle up with oil as well? Thanks

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. The wire mesh will slide up the down tube. Notice in the photo the level to which it is raised. The oil goes in the outer area of the cup. Air comes down the tube into the center and out to the oil and then up through the wire mesh and into the carb.
