I found out that most of Fords implements were made by somebody else. Who made the corn planters for them?

You are correct Doug that White made some of the planters, plows and disks (maybe more) for Ford starting in the 60s or 70s, and Claas made Ford-marketed combines in the 70s. But earlier, Ford marketed a red self- propelled combines made by Oliver. The earlier Ford planters were not made by Oliver or White (I owned a red Ford-Dearborn 2-row planter). In the 50s Fords cornpickers and pull-type combines were made by Woods Brothers in Des Moines, subsequently purchased by Ford. This is according to my experience and memory, but I do not know, for sure, who or if anyone else produced the earlier corn planter Dearborn branded planter. Mike-Iowa

Had an 4 row no-til. Parts for old style Kinze or White worked.
