What would be the correct model Ford loader for a Ford 7000 Row Crop? Ive read that the hydraulics on this model tractor are not loader friendly, anybody care to weigh in on that issue?

I've got an 8700 with a Leon 707 loader with bucket and grapple. Works good. It plugs into the standard 3 x remotes and works off the cab levers. I've got a fourth remote that I can divert to in the cab, so I can also run hydraulics out the back without pulling the loader hoses. Just remember to make your hoses long enough so that you can back right out of the loader before you disconnect the pipes if you want to drop it off much.

The models 772 and 774 would have been the choice for that tractor back in the day. The Ford loaders for those tractors, most had smaller cylinders to compensate for the low gpm those tractors had but were still strong enough for anything that the loader WAS BUILT to handle.

most 7000 rc have a front casting that does NOT allow a front pump to be added. The tractor usually has forward mounted steering and axle as well. this long wheel base model makes it even more difficult to add a loader. so bottom line a 7000 rowcrop is not a good choice for a loader..

can it be done, probably, but not easily with normal loader that work on most tractors..

then theres the hydrualics,, the 7000 has a 6.6 gal per minute hydraulic pump that makes it too slow for most loaders. its painfully slow to use the internal pump. again its a bad choice..

so if your still gonna try,, you probably will need to run a pto pump.. and find a loader that will extend out beyond the forward mounted axle..

hope this helps... bill

Koyker 565 and 600 series,Westendorf W6-42,Bushog QT 2426 and others.A lot of loaders will work if you order the mounting kit for your tractor. An older loader with the Ford name will be hard to find.Old companies like Wagner used to build loaders for Ford but that was many years ago.The new company's have options like joy stick controls ect. Most are quick attach with mounting hardware that adapts to different brands and sizes of tractors. There were several 7000 Fords around here with that had control hoses plugged in the remote couplers on the tractors. They seemed to work very well.
