Hi Folks.

I have a 73 ford 4000 3 cylinder that I would like to find a FEL for.

What modles will fit this tractor?
What would be a ball park figure to have to pay for one?

I don't mind having to do some repair work to it as long as the cylinders and ect are in good shape.
I have a welder and lathe and mill so fitting pins and such would not be a problem.

Thanks for any information or help.
I live near Medford Or. so if anyone knows of a unit near here I would appreciate the information.

ArleninOr,
just to bump this back to the front page. I am interested in that front loader that you spoke of. Just can't PM you as something is wrong with the page that comes up for me.

ArleninOr It snowed here all day today we have right at 3ft on the ground. I am ready for it to quit.

Mike, I forgot about runaway tractor. I purchased a JD model "M" from him.

I think the old Ford 727 will fit, and I know the 772, 776A, 776B, and 730 Industrial will. Lots of brands, if you have or can make the right mounting brackets. Quick attach are more expensive, but very nice if you want/need to use the tractor w/o the loader. I have a 772 (non-quick attach) on my 4600 right now, but it will be coming off as soon as the Westendorf TA26 gets here. I'd sell it to you cheap (good cylinders, but needs frame work), but I don't think Ladysmith, WI qualifies as being near Medford, OR.! (I'm only an hour from Medford, WI, though)
