I have a 640 ford that while working it,(pushing snow, mowing, etc) it will just die. Somedays I can run for 1hr somedays 15 min. I have noticed that it will run longer when I clean the carb and it is not completly warmed up. When it dies I can choke it and then it will start right back up. I have checked electrical. I have got a new float, needle valve and seat. any other suggestions will be appreciate

When your tractor shuts down check your sediment bowl. If its empty then you know you have an obstruction. Also how old is your gas? I've had tractors shut down because of bad gas.

Turn off the gas valve at the tank, remove the line from the carb and check the flow out of the tank. Run out as much as you can. If the flow fluctuates, you may have a leaf or hunk-o-junko in there. May have to completely drain the tank, remove the valve, clean the tank and valve and replace.

Sounds like you might have something in the gas tank that will some times clog the line and other time not clog it
