ok it has been about a year since i saw my tractor. i have it stored @ a friends ranch. Going to go pick it up maybe in the next week. i really enjoy this website and read all i could. i dont have my serial # handy but i did look it up @ one point here & off the top of my head believe i have a 1958 Ford 951/961. one of my questions after searching this site pretty good is have any of you seen these w/ i think a 9 x 42 or 11 x 42 rear tires? it is a wide adjustable front. also any thoughts on the best pricing for tires... thanks & happy tuesday!

I have seen 900 series Ford tractors with 13.6-38 rear rubber and another with 9.5-42 rubber and a 4000 with 12.4-42 rubber. It is my understanding that all three tractors are HIGH CROP versions. All three have extra height built into the wide front ends. I also saw a 4000 with 12.4-42 rubber with a very high single wheel in the front.

PC:

They did make a few high crop versions but I believe that these had 38" rear rims.

That tractor has 28 inch rims. The tire width from the factory would have been about 13.6 in current sizing.
