Arnettbros,

According to my supplements, the location to find your stamped serial number on your Ford 8000, they would be Stamped on the upper, rear area of the center housing behind the HPL cover.
I"m sorry but I do not know what HPL means, but,I am sure you can figure this out.

I hope this helps.

Be safe,
Cloud

English version: Upper rear of the rear axle center section just below the hitch cover. Inside the toolbox has to be the dumbest place anyone ever fastened a data plate.

I agree Rick,it was one of adhesive versions also.Stuck on the inside of the door.I'm not positive they had the serial info on that one.But i know it had the unit # and such.Same thing they had stuck under the right side hood panels on the thousand series tractors.

One place to look is on the inside of the toolbox lid above the step on the leftside of the tractor.I'm not sure of the stamped location.
