I am interested in trying to fit this loader to my 860 (has PS). This loader is on a TO that is for sale; it has a front pump. The rear attachment points pin into a bracket on the axle, whcih makes me think it may be adaptable to the longer length of the 860. Any ideas on maker of this loader?

Good evening Brad,

Look at the cylinders (can't tell in photo) if there is only one hydraulic hose to the bottom of the cylinder then it is a single action SA cylinder. Oil pushes the cylinder out and gravity forces the oil back through the same hose when lowering. To have down pressure you wil be looking for a dual action DA cylinder that will have two hoses, one to each end. This allows hydraulic pressure in both directions and provides the desired down pressure.

Thanks Paul! Any idea of its compatibility with the Ford Hundred series? Am I correct in assuming it is gravity lowered? I have to find out if the seller will seperate it from the tractor.

Brad

I have a Davis 100 Loader on my TO-30. It will lift about 1000 lbs and has been a great loader for the last 42 years that I've been around it. The 100 is gravity lowered but I'm not sure about the 101? It will bolt right up to the 8N and 9N's but for your tractor you may need to work on it a little. Good luck..

All right....
It is a Davis Loader 101. It was sold on many TO-35 Fergusons. I'm looking for just such a loader myself... If you dont want it, send it to me....

Good luck and enjoy.

Paul
