Is anyone selling or know where I could buy a used (working) motor for my Ford 881? Gas, 172 cid? Mine is a mess and would love to locate a used working one...if wanted, I could trade mine as a core...

I have a couple of 'extra' 172's that come in/with tractors/parts that require 134's. I bought 134 blocks/shorts blocks and have started getting 134 heads in.
I just traded a side distributor 8N for a 'run out' 850 so I'll keep 1 of the 'extra' 172's but that leaves at least 2 for sale.

Once you find your engine, I might be interested in your old engine if you do not turn it in as a core and you are not too far away.

I recall seeing one for sale in the classified section of this website about a month or so ago. Not sure when the ad was placed. Actually I just searched for you by typing 172. THere"s a couple complete engines and blocks there.
