I HAVE A 63 2000 GAS WHEN EVER I GO DOWN A HILL THE TEMP GET UP TO ABOUT 220 F AS SOON AS YOU GET ON THE FLAT IT DROPS BACK DOWN NEW T STAT FLUSHED RADIATER ANY HELP HERE POSIBLY RADIATER CAP? THANKS

FLUID LOOKS GOOD CAN MOW OR PUSH SNOW ALL DAY ONLY SHOWS WORM IF GOING DOWN HILLS

The temp sensor is at the rear of the head... sounds like it may not have coolant around it when you're going downhill. How is the coolant level? Only thing that comes to mind right off... or maybe the pump isn't working so great, and doesn't keep the coolant circulating when the rear of the engine is higher than the front?
